UFC on Fuel TV 2: Gustafsson Vs Silva Fight Card & Results

Held in the Ericsson Globe Arena for the first time, the 2nd installment for UFC on Fuel TV will feature Alexander Gustafsson (13-1-0) Vs Thiago Silva (14-2-0, 1 NC). This will definitely result in a crowd roaring match up with hometown boy Alexander taking the stage in the main event.

Gustafsson entered the UFC octagon in Nov 2009 (UFC 105) which saw his debut come to an end at just 45s into round 1. Since then, he currently holds a record of 5-1-0 in the octagon. His heavy hands and agression has brought him majority of his victories via knockout. Similar to Gustafsson, Thiago Silva is equally heavy handed. Fighting out of American Top Team, Silva makes his return to the UFC after a more than a year’s suspension by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Despite that, Silva ensures that his killer instincts are still sharp as hell and he’s there to finish the fights, as he always has been. We can expect a stand-up war in the main-event which should conclude the night with a bang.

Another notable encounter on the main card features Dennis Siver facing Diego Nunes. Dennis Siver will be making his debut as a featherweight after a loss against Donald Cerrone that set him back in the ladder to title contention. Siver would probably appear to be the bigger man and might find more success in the featherweight division.
